SUN

PHOTOVOLTAIC

One of the company’s main businesses is the development and implementation of photovoltaic projects, both in Italy and abroad. Currently, the company is working on projects for the construction of photovoltaic plants totalling approximately 700 MWp, distributed across the national territory. These plants will be primarily located in Sicily, Sardinia, Puglia, and Basilicata regions.

WIND

WIND ENERGY

The company dedicates significant resources to developing its business in the wind energy sector. 3R Group actively participates in numerous operational wind farms and new projects, with investments both in Italy and abroad. The group has contributed to the construction and management of over 400 MWp of wind capacity. Currently, approximately 800 MW of onshore wind farms are under development, along with offshore wind projects, including one proposed by "Energia Wind 2020 S.r.l." for the construction of a wind farm off the coast of Rimini with a capacity of 330 MWp.

HYDROELECTRIC

Hydroelectric technology, one of the earliest sources of renewable energy, has always played a central role in Val Camonica, where the group was founded. Over the years, we have supported various stakeholders in harnessing hydroelectric energy. Currently, two projects for the construction of medium and small-sized hydroelectric plants are under development in the province of Bergamo. FIRE - Biomass

BIOMASS

Biomass combustion is the oldest form of renewable energy utilized by human beings. Using wood and other organic materials to produce heat and energy is a practice that dates back thousands of years. Our company is a leader in the design, construction, and management of biomass plants for various sectors, including residential complexes, healthcare facilities, educational institutions and district heating systems. We also specialize in vegetable oil cogeneration, an efficient method that allows for heat recovery for district heating networks. Currently, our group operates two district heating plants in northern Italy and is building a third, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable and innovative energy solutions.

HYDROGEN

3R Energia has made significant investments in the development of the hydrogen supply chain, positioning itself as a leader in the renewable energy sector. This ongoing commitment has allowed the company to gain in-depth expertise, making it a benchmark for the realization of innovative hydrogen projects. Thanks to its experience and competence, 3R Energia is now able to operate as a General Contractor for projects that utilize electrolysis for hydrogen production, a key technology for energy transition towards a sustainable future. Electrolysis enables the generation of green hydrogen using electricity from renewable sources, thereby reducing carbon emissions and contributing to the decarbonization of the economy.

NUCLEAR

The strong demand for electricity is pushing towards technological innovation and, at the same time, the exploitation of all known resources. In this context, sustainable nuclear energy production will gain importance in the energy mix. 3R Energia, which has always been focused on innovation, is carrying out several feasibility studies in this area with the aim of meeting the demand of an increasingly fast-moving and demanding market.
